For Madeira Moderate canyoning, prior beginners’ level experience and good physical fitness are essential. Expect a 20-minute uphill walk. Located on the north coast at 200 meters altitude, enjoy 1200m of adventure with 8 abseils, jumps, and slides.

The highest Abseiling is 50 meters.

We did the intermediate canyoningtour with guidance from Ronaldo and Peter. It was incredible and very refreshing! They gave us great explanation on how to be save during the trip. They were serious when needed, but also very funny. We got some great chances to jump from up to 4 meters, and felt free to say no if we didn't want to jump.

We booked this trip last minute whilst on holiday. We were the whole group, just us two and the two super friendly instructors. They taught us how to safely abseil and made sure we felt confident before doing anything technical. Normally you have to pay extra for a photo of doing this sort of activity but they took loads and included them in the cost.
