What an amazing place! Whether you're an equestrian or not, Paula will tailor the ride to your ability. The horses are safe, happy, and able and Paula is a wealth of knowledge about the island. It was an incredible way to see the countryside and experience true Madeira. Would 100% recommend Quinta do Riacho! I can’t thank her enough for such a fabulous memory!

Myself and my partner rode here on the 07th of March. We found Paula to be very friendly and knowledgeable.My partner had never been on a horse before and Paula made sure that before we left the yard he was fully versed on how to mount ride and dismount. We had a lovely one and a half hour hack through the trails and forest. We would recommend this experience.Great

Excellent safety talk to begin the ride. Total novices, first time riders are in excellent hands. The horses knew their job and had great manners. Lovely ride through the national park. Ride leader making sure everyone was okay. If you are a nervous or first time rider you'll be in safe hands. Highly recommend
