This half day wine tour was a great experience. We were picked up from our Airbnb and then driven to a vineyard and a couple attractions. The vineyard was absolutely gorgeous and we tasted some great local wines (not the fortified Madeira wines).

Really enjoyed our morning at the vineyard (and other stops) our guide, Susana, was friendly and passionate about madiera. The scenery was spectacular and the wine went down a treat. We tried 3 whites a rose and 2 reds, all of which were very drinkable. So much so we bought 4 of them!

Due to a no show we were the only 2 on the tour. Guide Suzanne was friendly, knowledgeable and funny. The first winery was Quinta do Barbusano. We were shown the vinyard and some of the unique ways the grapes are grown. Then we were given SIX wines to taste.. all of which were lovely...
