Is it safe?

Tandem paraglider flight is extremely safe when done by accredited and Experienced Pilots, who know the local weather conditions making it a pleasant experience.Madeira Paragliding provides all the necessary equipment and the mandatory passenger insurances.The flights will be runned by Local professional paragliding instructor on the controls You may bring a Camera for in flight pictures.

Conditions

Paragliding is very weather dependant. Our priority is pasenger safety. we might need to reschedule the flight if the weather conditions are not optimal for a tandem flight. Paragliding flight can causes sickness to susseptable persons. If you do suffer from motion sickness, it is advisable to take medication before your flight. Alcohol and drugs are are not allowed in the Paragliding.

The guest only pays 30€ fee to confirm and schedule the booking. The remaining 120€ are paid directly on activity day.

On my last day in Madeira I decided I wanted to try out paragliding. I called around 11am to make an appointment and within 2 minutes everything was set! At some point I called again since I would be later and the staff was very flexible. Once I arrived, I was told I needed to wait for about 30 min. Although it ended up taking more than an hour, I didn’t mind since the atmosphere was so great...

What a wonderful experience. It was somewhat of a last minute decision to do this and we called and within an hour were booked to go. It is a fast introduction to the activity and then you are off. The experience was brilliant. Went with my 12 and 14 year old kids who equally enjoyed it. We all had experienced and friendly pilots. I would like to particularly thank 'JJ' for a great flight! Would highly recommend.

As a couple we went to Madeira Paragliding place without booking a tour. We had each a really nice tandem initiation. The guys are really nice and ready to to fly ! Such a great experience !
